Once you have made a plea to each violation you can then pay your fines. When you plead no contest or guilty to violations charged against you, you must make full payment for fines owed.
Fine Schedule
For fine amounts please contact the court. Please note, If you are not sure of the violation charge or the fine due, you can come to the court or speak with an operator at 281-337-6297. Operators are available during regular business hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 5: 30 p.m.
- Friday: 7:30 - 12 p.m.

Make Your Payment
You make a payment to the court in 1 of 4 ways:
- Pay online
- Bring your payment in person to court
- Mail your payment to the court's mail address
- You may telephone in your payment at 888-205-8337 if you plan on paying by a major credit card
- You may also drop off your payment off in the night drop box located on the south side entrance to Dickinson City Hall
Money Order or Check
Make your check or money order payable to Dickinson Municipal Court in the full amount due. If you mail in your payment write your ticket number on the check or money order along with your driver’s license number and date of birth. Sign and submit you plea located on the green ticket. Please indicate if you have an address change. The court has the right to deny any check or money order.
Payment in Person
If payment is made in person, only the individual who has received the ticket can pay with his or her check no second party checks will be accepted. Money orders will be accepted only from the individual who received tickets with proper identification. Your plea will also be required at the time of payment. The court has the right to deny any check or money order.
Payment by Major Credit Card
We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. There is a nominal fee for using this service. Alternately, you may call our payment line at 888-205-8337 and make your payment by phone. This number is for credit card payments only.
This system will give you a verbal receipt number. Your payment will be recorded as a plea of no contest. If you need case information, please call 281-337-6297.
Partial & Late Payments
If you do not plead on all charges shown on the ticket by the appearance date, you may expect an arrest warrant to be issued and arrest fees and Violation of Promise to Appear fines to be added to the amount due.
Payment received late will be accepted and posted. You will be notified by mail at the address shown on your ticket if additional fines apply.
Payment Extension or Payment Plans
If you cannot afford to pay, you must go to a court location to request an extension or payment plan to pay fines. Only the individual who received the violation can request for extension or payment plan. Payment plans will be assessed an additional fee to be determined when payment is made for each violation. If payment plan or extension has been granted anyone else can make payments to your account, but the responsibility is still on the defendant to make payments in a timely matter.
Before an extension or payment plan is granted, a
Time Payment or Extension Application Form (PDF) must be completed. Entire form must be filled out and all information on the application is subject to verification by the court. If any information submitted is found to be false, the application will be denied.
Warning
Filing false information with the court is a Class A misdemeanor punishable by up to 1 year in jail and a maximum fine up to $4,000.
Getting Specific Information about Your Fine
Fine information is provided on the back of your ticket. If your violation is not available on the back of your ticket you can call our office at 281-337-6297. You will need to know your citation number or your drivers' license number.
