Will I still get emergency notifications if I don't sign up?
If citizen(s) or businesses within the City of Dickinson don’t register as a user for the system, you will not receive individualized notifications. We encourage users to elect to receive text messages to a cellphone and emails to ensure that you can be informed on the go.
What if my phone number, address or email address changes?
DickinsonALERT is only as good as the information you provide. If your information changes, you should immediately update your profile to manage any changes so you will continue to receive timely notifications based on your profile and preferences. We ask that everyone please review their information at least once per year. If you choose to only review your information once per year, our recommendation is to review/update your information in May of each year as this is just before the start of the June 1st Atlantic Hurricane Season.
