The City is in the process of doing a street assessment project that will rate the condition of all of the roadways throughout the City and outline the order in which they need to be addressed based on condition.
A study from Huitt-Zollars is telling us that in order to improve the condition of the roadways by 20% over the next 10 years, we would need to budget $5.4 million annually. Our street maintenance budget for this fiscal year is $5.2 million.
