Draft Budget Calendar:

| City Manager and finance begin planning for FY22-23 Budget

| June | Departments begin putting in budget requests and meeting internally to discuss |
| August | Draft budget is presented to City Council and public budget workshops begin |
| August | Proposed tax rate is announced and the first public hearing is held |
| September | Second public hearings are held if necessary |
| September | Budget is adopted and the tax rate is set |
| October 1 | New fiscal year begins |
