The patch of 45th street between St. Goar Street and Nicolini Street has not been paved in over 20 years. The pot holes are so deep you can ruin your car or possible get stuck. My 91 year old Grandmother lives on that portion of street and its so dangerous to drive. I noticed that its not on the list of streets to repave so I'm suggesting we get that street repaved for those who have gone without it being repaved in over 20+ years. I will make presentation to the City Council if need be.

How about the City of Dickinson stops ignoring tax payer’s drainage and street maintenance requests?

How about fixing the drainage issues on Pin Oak Dr, or maybe the road itself.

There is a small but dangerous section of sidewalk on FM 517 near the corner of Owens Dr. (as you head west) that is torn up and needs to be repaired for pedestrians on foot or on bicycle. Escpecially with school starting soon, coming to or from DHS and Barber it is a danger. If this is not city of Dickinson responsability perhaps the city staff could take initiative to make the repair happen.
Thanks!

My idea is to have lawn care companies file for a annual work permit within the city limits. I have watched lawn care companies time and time again dumping and blowing lawn debris in the storm drains in the city. We all know this clogs the storm drain system. There could also be a fine for doing this as well if caught. The revenue could be used for the draining system in the City of Dickinson.

Something needs to be done about Texas-New Mexico Power in Dickinson, specifically on 517 west of 646 in Bentwood at Bay Colony. We literally lose power EVERY SINGLE TIME there is a mild thunderstorm or worse. It's absurd at this point. It happens at least 5 and usually closer to 10 times a year. Every single time this happens, Bentwood at Bay Colony is out, and I can drive east of 646 on 517, and the power is unaffected. There is something systemically wrong with TNMP in our neighborhood. I have a CPAP machine that I need to sleep, and if a storm hits at night, I have to wake up until the power comes back or plug in my $400 battery I bought so I can sleep. I have also invested in several PCs and other sensitive electric equipment because I work from home, and I'm constantly worrying that I will have to replace this equipment every time it rains. I hope that the city can do something about this.

Why have a school with nearly 4000 kids and a stadium holding 8000 in an area where streets have no sidewalks, no shoulders, no lights, no bike lanes?
Hazardous and thoughtless planning.
